Virtual User profiles have been specifically designed for those who do not have a dedicated phone, but they can still be allocated a DDI number with Branding e.g. ‘Hampstead Plumbing’. The Operator/Receptionist can then transfer the call to the Virtual User’s extension number and the call is either diverted to system voicemail, with an option to pass to email, or the call is forwarded e.g. to mobile, allowing calls to be transferred announced/unannounced. Virtual Users can also be members of a hunt group.
